Marge Brown, the Strategic Projects Coordinator of the Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty Cape Fear Home Team, co leads the team with her husband, Bruce Brown,a real estate agent and broker. Marge is responsible for strategic planning, marketing programs, and financial planning for the team. Marge is also an active real estate investor in the Cape Fear region and has a direct sales business with SendOut Cards. Prior to working on the Cape Fear Home Team, starting in 2001, Marge was a Contributing Editor at PC Magazine, working with Bruce, who was also a PC Magazine Contributing Editor. Marge wrote full-time, writing hardware and software reviews, analytical articles for ExtremeTech.com, and technology articles for Ziff Davis Custom Media for a variety of niche markets. From 1996 to 2001, Marge ran her own personal and career coaching service based on training at Coach University. Prior to career coaching, Marge’s corporate career spanned 22 years as Director of Technology at The Travelers Companies, Director of Data Management at Aetna Health Plans, and independent Managed Care technology consultant. She also taught English at the secondary level for one year after graduation from the University of Connecticut with degrees in English and Sociology. Marge and Bruce have three children: Richard, a Senior Editor at CNET.com; Liz, married and the mother of their grandson, Seamus; and Pete, a college student at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. In her spare time she enjoys reading, movies, swimming, and exploring Wilmington with Bruce and their Giant Schnauzer, Pepper.
