In 2005 the Cape Fear Home Team was named to Coldwell Banker's International President's Circle, a designation for the top 7% of associates worldwide. The award was based on the team's $11.5 million in production, outstanding in itself but particularly impressive during the team's first full year together. Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty celebrates record setting 2005 Article in The Star News Coldwell Banker Sea Coast realty's sales associates, staff, and managers celebrated the company's first billion-dollar year Thursday, Feb 9 at its annual awards breakfast for 2005 production. The Sea Coast Realty family and guests -including speaker Jeff Wheeler, chief operatinf officer for Coldwell Banker Corporation- gathered at the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort to recognize a record-setting year for the company in its 12th year. Closed sales volume in 2005 for the compnay was $1.231 billion, eclipsed by $412 million the previous record set in 2004, said president Tim Milam. The company has 5,312 closed sales transactions in 2005 - an increase of more than 1,000 from 2004, and its largest total ever. "We were able to help more than 5,300 families with one of the most important events in their lives," Milam said, emphasizing that the record year was important not only for the company but especially for those it served. During the breakfast, Milam recognized the company's top producers for 2005 and its associates who achieved more than $2 million in closed sales volume.
